What You'll Do

Working collaboratively with the Global Capabilities and Programs (“GCP”) Functional Finance team, you will provide leverage to the cross-functional planning lead and manager across all FTE and compensation-related activities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Act as the subject matter expert (SME) on FTE and compensation planning across Global Functions, enabling clear leadership-ready materials to support business decisions and functional reviews.
• Partner with functional business partners (and HRBPs) to align headcount planning with target operating models. Drive meaningful planning dialogues that support strategic workforce decisions, provide insights, challenge assumptions and highlight key trade-offs.
• Lead the end-to-end monthly process for reporting and reconciliation, ensuring timely and accurate submissions to Global Services Finance and Functional Finance teams. Deliver insightful variance analysis and commentary on actuals vs. plan/forecast, proactively flagging risks and opportunities.
• Drive transformational improvements to planning and reporting process through feedback loops with key stakeholders. Support the migration of reporting tools and models to the new enterprise structure during ongoing transition.
• Provide strategic analytics and decision support to leadership, which includes ad hoc modelling, benchmarking, and scenario planning.
• Build strong relationships across Finance, HR, and Global Function teams. Facilitate local office dialogues to ensure payroll processes are aligned, efficient and well documented.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting/economics, and/or a MBA preferred
• 4+ years relevant work experience in a finance environment
• Advanced organizational skills with high levels of accuracy and diligence a must
• Excellent communication skills – oral and written, with the ability to adjust to multiple audiences and the confidence to present to and influence senior management
• A passion for working in a collaborative team environment
• Critical Thinking and problem solving – proven ability to work through complex problems and analyses in providing a thoughtful concrete solution
• Motivation and self-drive – excited by tackling challenges and pro-actively finding new ways to provide value to senior leadership
• Advanced Excel skills - experience managing and building scalable financial models and analysing large data sets
• Other systems skills a benefit, e.g. a working knowledge of SAP, Hyperion, Workday, Power BI, Think-Cell

Who You'll Work With

Global Capabilities and Programs (“GCP”) Functional Finance team consists of a variety of functions providing corporate support to BCG's business and strategic priorities. GCP also comprises of teams and individuals who support partnership activities including firm governance and leadership, operational excellence and internal corporate development and oversight. They are a diverse group of experts, operators and specialists representing all levels who integrate and collaborate with their teams across the globe.
