BNP Paribas Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) is seeking a professional to join the Global Banking division, within the Investment Banking (IB) platform, as a Senior Business Manager . As part of the Investment Banking Solutions team and reporting directly to the Global Sectors & Advisory (GS&A) Business Management team, the candidate will support the monitoring and strategic development of BNP Paribas' Global Sectors & Advisory franchise

The role combines strategic reporting, League Tables management, data governance, database management, process automation and the adoption of AI-enabed solutions, while providing regular exposure to senior management. The candidate will contribute to executive-level analyses, reporting and presentations that support business decisions, franchise development and BNP Paribas' competitive positioning

The position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative and intellectually stimulating environment, requiring strong analytical skills, adaptability and the ability to deliver high-quality outputs in support of evolving business priorities and senior stakeholders

This position offers a unique opportunity to sit at the intersection of strategy, market intelligence, and data analytics within a leading global Investment Banking franchise. The candidate will gain significant visibility with senior management and play a direct role in supporting the strategic development and competitive positioning of BNP Paribas Advisory globally

Your Main Activities Are

Produce, maintain and continuously enhance strategic reports/dashboards and performance monitoring tools for Advisory senior management, Sector Heads and executive committees

Transform complex datasets into meaningful business insights and executive-level presentations supporting strategic decision-making

Design and deliver high-impact presentations for senior management reviews, business updates and strategic discussions

Monitor BNP Paribas' performance across League Tables, market share metrics, revenue indicators and competitive benchmarks

Respond to ad hoc strategic requests from senior bankers and management, often requiring the rapid consolidation and analysis of large and complex datasets

In coordination with Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) bankers, coordinate transaction submissions to key market data providers (including Dealogic/Mergermarket, Bloomberg, etc.)

Monitor transaction credits and ensure BNP Paribas receives appropriate recognition for its advisory roles

Conduct detailed analyses and investigations to support League Table challenges and credit claims

Prepare fee reconciliations, credits reviews, and supporting materials for discussions with external data providers

Contribute to senior-level engagements with market data providers and support the preparation of management presentations related to League Tables

Design, maintain and enhance internal databases, reporting tools and data management processes to ensure accuracy, consistency and accessibility of information

Develop automated reporting solutions and dashboards to improve efficiency, reduce manual processes and strengthen data integrity

Manage large datasets and perform advanced data analysis using Excel and other analytical tools

Identify opportunities to streamline workflows through automation and digital solutions

Contribute to the implementation of innovative reporting, analytics and AI-driven initiatives, including the development of prompts, automation workflows and digital solutions to improve productivity and decision-making across the Advisory platform

Leverage AI tools and large language models (LLMs) to enhance processes, develop scalable analytical solutions, and support the industrialization of recurring management presentations

Develop strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the GS&A/IB franchise and act as a trusted advisor on performance metrics, competitive positioning and market intelligence

Engage regularly with Market Intelligence, IB Solutions managers and other Investment Banking teams to support cross-functional initiatives and strategic projects

As a member of the GS&A Business Management team, the candidate may be called upon to contribute to a broad range of Business Management activities, including business governance, M&A activity monitoring, operational processes, transformation projects, and other ad hoc requests supporting the effective management and development of Global Sectors & Advisory franchise

Profile and Skills to Success

Strong experience in reporting automation and process optimisation

Advanced Excel expertise, data modelling/management and PowerPoint skills with the ability to create senior management and executive-level presentations

Fluent in English, both spoken and written

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Good data management and data quality control skills

Rigorous and detail-oriented

Proactive, autonomous and solution-oriented

Ability to synthesize large volumes of information into concise and impactful messages

Ability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving environment, manage multiple priorities, anticipate business needs, adapt to changing circumstances and deliver high-quality outputs
