Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and mechanically qualified Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of our new project in Portugal. This role requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record in large-scale construction projects within the chemical or related industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of the project in Portugal.
• Ensure all project objectives are met, including timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards.
• Coordinate and manage all aspects of the project, including engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Oversee the work of subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
• Implement robust project management practices, including risk management, cost control, and performance tracking.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, challenges, and solutions.
• Ensure compliance with all local regulations, standards, and environmental requirements.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Extensive experience as a Project Manager in large-scale construction projects, preferably within the chemical industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent project management skills, with proficiency in project management software and tools.
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, engineering principles, and industry standards.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Portuguese is a plus but not required.
