About the job

The Continuous Improvement Project Manager role is similar to an internal consultant role, and it provides an excellent foundation of knowledge to take on other key roles in our organisation in the future. The role is based in Lisbon, but some overseas travel may be required at times according to business needs.

Your Main Activities Are

As part of the team, the Continuous Improvement Project Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to:

    Lead and/or contribute to process improvement projects using Continuous Improvement Programme approach and tools – including post project follow up & impact quantification
    Prepare and facilitate problem solving workshops
    Implement Continuous improvement management practice, such as performance & activity management, workload & capacity planning
    During projects, coach staff and managers on Continuous Improvement mindset and practices to develop / spread CI culture in the organization
    Contribute to CI projects / workshops identification and selection
    Contribute to develop CI programme infrastructure / framework / community

Profile and Skills to Success

    Master’s degree in management, Finance, Economics or Engineering
    Excellent command of English. French is a plus
    Experienced on Lean methods and tools
    Experienced on change management methods and tools
    Facilitation skills
    Leadership: Capacity to bring together different stakeholders' visions and have them converge towards the same common target and get their full buy-in
    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels of the business
    Listening skills
    Rigorous, organized, and execution oriented
    Team player, ability to work cross functionally for the general interest
    Sense of priority: capacity to draw the line between important and secondary matters and switch between macroscopic and detailed issues permanently
    Pragmatic
    Previous experience within CIB Operations or exposure to their processes will be a key asset
    Experience in team management is a plus
    Skills in coaching is a plus
    Green Belt Lean Six Sigma certification would be a key asset
