Critical to delivering our data and AI ambitions is a coherent portfolio to execute our masterplan, and consistent execution approach that provides standard way of working and clarity to the delivery team while providing visibility and transparency of progress with our stakeholders. We are looking for an experienced PMO analyst and portfolio manager who will oversee and coordinate our portfolio management activities and ensures alignment and compliance with

• the global/corporate PMO standards, processes, and initiatives
• Siemens Energy’s Finance, Accounting & Control timelines and processes

How You’ll Make an Impact / Responsibilities

• Define and manage the portfolio management and delivery processes and tools to support a consistent methodology for all our projects and activities
• Ensure effective project and portfolio decision support through design and provision of appropriate reports and reporting cadence to governance boards, the leadership team, project managers and business owners.
• Support executive reporting that includes board read outs, KPIs, project health and status, inclusive of financials and resource utilization.
• Monitor, plan and execute progress of delivery activities, and actively work to resolve any plan variances and provide accurate and timely communication to all pertinent stakeholders.
• Identify and implement processes/services to manage expectations of key stakeholders and vendors partners
• Synthesize key insights, highlighting gaps, identifying pain points, and understanding opportunity for value while tracking milestones and deliverables across the team.
• Support other portfolio managers from the different teams in providing consistent delivery and portfolio governance across the Data & Advanced Analytics organization
• Occasionally expected to manage task force

What You Bring / skills, capabilities

• Proven experience in supporting and managing projects/programmes/portfolios
• Excellent understanding of portfolio and project management methodologies, tools and techniques in waterfall, lean and agile environments, with experience in use of project management and collaboration softwares, e.g. Smartsheet / MS Project / JIRA / Trello / Service Now
• Strong stakeholder engagement at all levels of the organization, with experience in influencing direction and driving outcomes
• Excellent communications and engagement, with awareness and experience in different types of medium and methods to capture and sustain attention and participation
• Experience in developing and delivering learning and capability strategy and approach
• Experience and working knowledge (5-10 years) with Digital initiatives, Data Analytics projects or Software Development within a large, multi-national organisation.
• Substantial experience of establishing program management frameworks within large, complex, global organisations.
