Today we are looking for trainees (F/M/X) for our Flexible Generation division that will rotate in various locations in Belgium.
WE ARE OFFERING YOU as Trainee
A 24-month program starting on the 16th of September 2025, during which you will:
- Receive extensive on-the-job field training & coaching by senior experts and field managers in different operational areas.
- Become familiar with ENGIE’s first priority, health and safety, via the One Engie Safety program.
- Gain technical knowledge and hands-on experience by working in the different power plants or battery parks in development, construction or operation all over Belgium.
- Develop a broad set of technical and soft skills by being exposed to exciting field assignments.
- Towards the end of the project have the opportunity to take on more responsibility by dealing with interesting operational missions or special projects, with a positive impact on people and planet.
- Get the opportunity to work in diverse teams and develop a strong professional network.

YOUR PROFILE as Trainee
- Bachelor or Master degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical or Physical Engineering.
- Good understanding of the energy sector and the energy transition landscape and you are passionate about developing your career in this business.
- Hands-on with great interest in operative “in-the-field” assignments.
- You adapt easily to different domains and environments.
- You love to take initiative and to take full responsibility of the projects you manage.
- You like to work in teams where ideas and knowledge are shared with peers.
- You speak French/Dutch and are able to work in the other language and in English.
- You are willing and flexible to travel regularly to different ENGIE sites in Belgium.
