Jumpseller is a SaaS solution for small businesses to manage their online business. We focus on making e-commerce easier for everyone, so businesses can focus on what they do best: building and selling their products. Today, merchants use the Jumpseller platform to manage every aspect of their online business — from products to orders to customers, selling with an online store, on mobile, on social networks and through different e-commerce channels.

At Jumpseller you will find a startup environment in which your contributions matter and you are enabled to grow professionally. Our team is collaborating from 2 offices, one in Porto, Portugal, and another in Santiago, Chile, and our working culture is international.

The role

We are looking for a Finance Manager to join our growing team on a 12-month temporary fixed-term contract. In this role, you will collaborate with multiple internal and external departments, ensuring effective budget control, oversight, and reporting. We would like having someone who is passionate about supporting a software product used by millions of people worldwide.

You will

  • Keep tracking KPIs and delivering actionable management reporting;
  • Preparing annual investment plans and ongoing financial forecasts;
  • Preparing monthly financial variance analysis and communicating performance;
  • Financial management via Quickbooks, cost centers, reconciliation and financial reporting;
  • Work with external accountants and auditors to ensure the accuracy financial statements;
  • Work with external consultants and main stakeholders on applying and managing public incentives, like PT2030.

The Recruitment Process

  • We will review all the CVs & Cover Letters received;
  • First interviews - 30 minutes. This is an introductory meeting with our People Department, so that you get to know Jumpseller and present yourself;
  • Top candidates will be invited to participate in a Case Study, which will be done at their own pace and should not take over 4hs. Not more than 4 to 6 invitations will be sent. The Case Study will be evaluated by the Head of Finance in a later interview - 45 to 60 minutes;
  • Finally, a last interview - 30 minutes - with the Founders to get to know better the company.
  • We expect to send you an offer by October to start 1st of November.

All candidates will be notified from us once the process is concluded. Those on the last interview stage can request brief feedback about their application.

Job requirements

You are

  • Profile with strong analytical orientation, autonomy and sense of responsibility;
  • A passion for problem solving and a proven track record of developing new processes and solutions from scratch;
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, ambiguous work environment and navigate through change;
  • Willingness to take ownership, get your hands dirty, and help out where needed.

You have

  • A bachelor/master in Management, Financial, Economics or Accountancy (or related fields);
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or related roles;
  • Ability to lead the finance department, fostering collaboration and accountability with external parties (e.g accountancy firms);
  • Ability to communicate clearly in writing and orally in Portuguese and English;
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis;
  • Strong analytical skills with a key attention to detail;
  • Spanish language is a plus;
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, CIMA) are advantageous.

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: From 1,200.00€ per month
