As an Associate Software Engineer (Backend) with Intapp, you will be working on the AI-powered, industry-specific cloud platform built to transform the way professional and financial services firms operate. You will work with senior engineers, technical leads, product managers and designers, providing ample opportunities for mentorship that offer the successful candidate pathways for skills development and career progression.

You will be a part of a growing, innovative team and will work closely with the development and product management teams innovating to enhance our existing software and develop new products. In this role, you will work closely with experienced engineers to design, develop, and maintain software solutions that leverage .NET technologies and Azure Cloud services, having the opportunity to contribute to core features, innovating the produt within established frameworks.

What you will do:
  • Contribute to the design design, development, and deployment of software solutions using .NET technologies, including C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core
  • Learn to develop scalable and reliable cloud-native applications on the Azure Cloud Platform, under the guidance of experienced engineers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, contribute to system architecture discussions, and propose technical solutions
  • Follow best practices for security, performance, and reliability in software development and cloud architecture
  • Write clean, well-structured code following established coding standards and practices (e.g. code reviews)
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in software development and cloud computing
  • Work in a hybrid office environment (minimum 3 days at the office)

What you will need:
  • Experience with .NET technologies, such as C# and ASP.NET, gained through coursework, projects, or internships
  • Understanding of how to develop new backend services in an object-oriented programming language with a preference for C#
  • Some familiarity with relational databases (SQL)
  • Experience with Azure or other major cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud)
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks for unit and integration testing
  • Basic knowledge of security best practices and tools (e.g., OWASP, static code analysis tools)
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards learning and self-improvement
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • A Bachelor's or advanced degree in engineering or computer science or equivalent experience
  • Be fluent in English. Portuguese language skills are a plus
  • Have the ability to travel to other development centres for training or temporary job assignments
