LEICA PORTUGAL is looking for a Controller to its facilities in V. N. Famalicão.

Mission:

With report to the Group Controlling, will be responsible for the planning/controlling activities for the new sales Scandinavian subsidiary of Leica Camera AG, and for the governance of intercompany charges worldwide.

Main Tasks:

· Active participation in annual budget planning

· Preparation of regular sales reports and monthly group reports and the financial forecast

· Inventory controlling and support of the annual inventory

· Ensuring complete and accurate accounting

· Preparation, analysis and, if necessary, presentation of the monthly income statement

· Support in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements

· Preparation and support of audits

· Cost and performance accounting

· Monitoring and, if necessary, modifying the conditions system

· Preparation of contribution margin calculations and price controls

· Maintenance of cost types and cost centers as well as responsibility for cost control

· Maintenance and development of the relevant master data in the ERP system

· Support the management team on commercial issues

· Business analysis of business processes

· Development and monitoring of relevant key figures

· Participation or implementation of projects to improve processes and results

· Coordination with local authorities and service providers

· Take over and coordinate/oversee the process of intercompany charges between Leica Companies

Profile required:

· University degree in Finance, Economics or Business Administration

· Minimum 2 years of professional experience as an auditor/consultant in a Big 4 Company

· A good knowledge in understanding the Balance sheet , P&L and Cash Flow statements;

· Experience using SAP S/4 HANA System and other accounting programs or equivalent will be an advantage;

· Advanced level of excel and query training;

· Advanced level of English, written and spoken, is mandatory - German will be an advantage;

· Strategic and analytical, structured, independent way of working

· Resilience and flexibility

· Ability to solve problems and communicate at all levels

· Willingness to travel
