Are you someone who enjoys communicating with different stakeholders and thinking outside the box? Do you want to be in the driver's seat, striving for harmonized, standardized, and efficient Payment Processes on a global scale within the Infineon Travel Management landscape? If so, our Procurement team offers the perfect opportunity for you! Join us as a Global Process Owner for Business Travel Payments.
As a Global Process Owner, you will be responsible for Infineon Global Business Travel Payment Processes, working on their optimization, harmonization, and compliance with service levels for all countries served, as well as identifying new topics or issues and suggesting/implementing the adjustments needed.

In your new role you will:
  • Maintain and improve payment processes within the travel management landscape considering standardization and harmonization as well as local-specific guidelines;
  • Ensure the selection and utilization of appropriate payment methods, such as individual, central payment, cash advance, virtual payment, etc., for Infineon's travel services in all markets, while establishing suitable structures, such as account setup, that align with legal requirements;
  • Perform cross-functional alignment with relevant stakeholders and peers ensuring an efficient and compliant end-to-end travel process ;
  • Support supplier selection and negotiation by defining requirements and bringing market expertise;
  • Be responsible for processes and requirements documentation , as well as preparation and distribution of payment-relevant information via suitable communication channels (e.g. intranet, guidelines, etc.) and training ;
  • Ensure efficient operational processes (e.g. Credit Card Application), monitoring KPIs and interpretation of key reports/figures ;
  • Take part in different projects, either by independently managing them in your known area of responsibility (including creating project plans, a breakdown of tasks, milestones, timelines, and working with project members) or giving support and structuring based on process ownership.

You are a natural team player with excellent communication skills, able to grow sustainable relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You are a critical thinker and problem solver able to analyze complex situations, identify key issues, and develop effective solutions. Furthermore, you are someone who approaches problems and challenges creatively and unconventionally, exploring new and better ways of doing things.

You are best equipped for this position if you have:
  • A degree in Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or similar field of studies;
  • At least 3 years of experience with payment methods/ travel management-related topics – preferably in the accounting/finance area;
  • Knowledge of Concur and Travel & Expense processes is beneficial;
  • An understanding of the legal aspects of travel management will be an advantage;
  • Fluency in English (mandatory) – German is a plus.
