Tasks

The Content Marketing intern will work closely with the Marketing Lead, to support the successful execution and timely delivery of Covalo’s content strategy. This includes the creation of B2B cosmetics and consumer goods-related blog articles, social posts, webinars, podcasts, and more, with the goal of driving traffic from consumer goods brands to the Covalo platform. The content will be a mix of content sponsored by our clients, as well as educational content that positions Covalo as the go-to platform for the consumer goods industry.

You’ll have the freedom to bring your own creative ideas to the table, and take ownership over our content creation, which will be a valuable growth opportunity! This is a 6-month internship to begin with, with a high possibility of a full-time role on our Marketing team based on successful performance.

Key responsibilities:

• Written content creation: long-form blog articles, short-form educational content, social posts, newsletters - > this will be your primary focus for the first half of the internship
• Support the set-up of webinars, podcasts, website forms, email automations through our CRM, and contact base segmentation
• Upload and schedule all content created
• Support with research and ideation for upcoming Marketing campaigns
• Analyze Marketing performance and identify opportunities for optimization
• Create performance reports for our clients
• Assist with events logistics

Requirements

Must have:

• Native English-level written proficiency, and taking joy from writting
• Good content creation skills
• Detail-oriented, organized, diligent, to seamlessly run most of our marketing processes
• Accountability and completion of tasks on-time
• Professional communication skills
• Graphic design: good eye for aesthetics; basic design skills on Canva are sufficient
• Capacity to work autonomously in a remote setting, and communicate openly when support is needed

Bonus points:

• HUGE PLUS for those with personal care / cosmetics industry experience or chemistry knowledge
• Analytical skills: comfortable with excel and able to connect the dots, such as observing growth trends and making correlations between events and performance
• Previous experience setting up automations triggered by user behavior (through tools like hubspot, mailchimp)
• Research skills: identify trending or underserved topics by researching different industry publications and online listening tools.
• Deeper knowledge of SEM (SEO, SEA and SMO) or PPC
• Video and sound editing skills

This will include a total of 3 rounds of interviews (including a case study), and meeting not only your line manager, but also your direct team and at least one of our founders.
