We are seeking to fill multiple positions for this role.

Requirements:

-Must speak, understand, read and write both English, Cantonese, Vietnamese, Brazilian Portuguese, European Portuguese, Russian, Ukrainian, Amharic and Arabic (and, if applicable, a 3rd language) at a professional level.

-Knowledge of medical terminology in both English, Cantonese, Vietnamese, Brazilian Portuguese, European Portuguese, Russian, Ukrainian, Amharic and Arabic (and, if applicable, a 3rd language).

-Experience interpreting preferred 1 - 3 years.

-High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

-Note-taking skills and attention to detail required.

Responsibilities:

-Interpret for medical appointments with an English-speaking medical provider and a Cantonese, Vietnamese, Brazilian Portuguese, European Portuguese, Russian, Ukrainian, Amharic and Arabic speaking patient (and/or a third language, if applicable).

-Interpret non-medical appointments.

-Follow interpreter protocol for to maintain professionalism and interpreter transparency.

-Follow applicable laws and regulations (including HIPAA) to maintain the privacy and security of all parties.
