Job Description

Your contribution to something big:

As part of the Home Comfort engineer team, you will be supporting the calibration, maintenance, developing equipment’s for laboratory. Your tasks will be:

• Equipment Management: Oversee and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper functioning and calibration;
• Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure that the laboratory complies with safety standards and regulations;
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of experiments, procedures, and results. Prepare technical reports and documentation as required;
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to equipment malfunctions or experimental procedures;
• Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers and technicians to achieve project goals;
• Research and Development Support: Support ongoing research and development projects by providing technical expertise and assistance;
• Procurement: Assist in the selection and procurement of laboratory equipment and supplies;
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the implementation of best practices.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

Education:

• Academic degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Physics engineering or similar;

Technical skills:

• Experience in specification of new components, material selection, tolerance chain calculation;
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and construction methods;
• Proficient with Microsoft office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote);

Personal Skills:

• Able to take responsibility for own work and apply own initiative to finding solutions in a structured way;
• Problem solving mindset, results oriented and pro-active attitude;
• Good communication skills and capable to work in a team environment;
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
