Job Title: Waiter/Waitress – Specialty Coffee Shop

Location: Café Mané, Albufeira, Faro

Position: Full-time

Are you passionate about great coffee and exceptional customer service? We are looking for a dedicated and friendly waiter/waitress to join our team in a fast-paced, specialty coffee shop.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner. Provide recommendations, take orders, and ensure customers have a positive experience.
• Coffee Knowledge: Be familiar with our menu and coffee offerings, and help customers with their selections, answering any questions they may have.
• Fast & Efficient Service: Serve food and drinks in a timely manner, ensuring quality and accuracy. Keep the flow moving even during busy periods.
• Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensure the dining area is clean and organized, including tables, chairs, and the counter, to create a comfortable environment for all guests.
• Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other staff members, including baristas, kitchen staff, and managers, to ensure a smooth operation.
• Engagement: Maintain a positive attitude, interact with customers, and create a welcoming environment for repeat business.
• Cash Handling & POS: Operate the cash register, process payments accurately, and handle transactions efficiently.

• Coffee Enthusiast: While prior coffee experience isn’t required, a love for coffee and eagerness to learn about specialty coffee drinks will be highly appreciated.
• Attention to Detail: You ensure that orders are accurate, drinks are served perfectly, and the shop is clean and welcoming at all times.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a customer service role (coffee shop, restaurant, or similar) is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Flexibility with shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Passion for coffee and great customer experiences!
